Pregnancy nutrition, made simple
Pregnancy is one of the most nutritionally demanding stages of life. Optivance's pregnancy range is formulated by nutritionists and pharmacists to deliver the key prenatal nutrients your body and your baby need — in a daily smoothie that's easier to keep up with than tablets.
Why a prenatal smoothie instead of tablets?
Many mums-to-be struggle with prenatal tablets — they can be hard to swallow, cause nausea or be forgotten on busy days. Our Prenatal Vitamin Smoothie blends 100% of the RDI of iodine and folic acid (as methylated folate for easier absorption) with clean protein, fibre, iron, DHA and gut-loving probiotics, so you get a complete daily ritual in one go.
Key nutrients for every trimester
Folate supports neural tube development, iodine and DHA support baby's brain growth, iron helps prevent fatigue and supports increased blood volume, and protein supports tissue growth. Our pregnancy bundles pair the smoothie with a shaker and convenient travel sachets so your routine works at home, at work and on the go.
Safe, science-led and Australian made
Optivance is formulated in Australia, HACCP certified and made without artificial colours or flavours. Every batch is created with input from registered nutritionists and pharmacists, so you can feel confident about what you're putting into your body during pregnancy.
Frequently asked questions
Can I take the Prenatal Vitamin Smoothie instead of my prenatal tablet?
Our Prenatal Vitamin Smoothie is designed as a complete daily prenatal — it includes methylated folate, iodine, iron, DHA and key B vitamins at pregnancy-appropriate levels. As always, check with your GP, midwife or obstetrician before changing your supplement routine.
When should I start drinking it?
You can start as soon as you're trying to conceive, throughout all three trimesters and into postpartum. Many mums continue with our Breastfeeding Smoothie after birth.
Is it safe for morning sickness?
The smoothie is gentle on the stomach and many mums find it easier to keep down than tablets. Sip it slowly, try it cold, or split your serve across the day if you're feeling queasy.
