Privacy Policy — Optivance Nutrition Pty Ltd

Last updated: 24 February 2026

Optivance Nutrition Pty Ltd (“Optivance”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1) Who we are (and who powers our store)

Optivance operates this website and online store (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which helps us run the site, process orders and payments, and deliver our Services.

2) What personal information we collect

We only collect what we need to run our store and support you.

Information you give us

  • Your name, email, phone number

  • Billing and delivery address

  • Order details (what you buy, returns/exchanges, order history)

  • Account details (if you create an account)

  • Messages you send us (customer support, reviews, feedback)

Information collected automatically when you browse

  • Your IP address and basic device info (browser type, device type)

  • How you use the site (pages visited, products viewed, clicks, time on site)

  • Cookie data (see Section 7)

Payment information
Payments are processed by Shopify and/or payment providers. We generally don’t store your full card details.

3) Why we collect and use your information

We use your information to:

  • Process your order (payments, fulfilment, shipping, returns/refunds)

  • Support you (answer questions, resolve issues, keep you updated)

  • Run and improve the website (analytics, troubleshooting, performance)

  • Personalise your experience (remember preferences, suggest relevant products)

  • Keep things safe (fraud prevention and security)

  • Send marketing (only where permitted and based on your settings — you can opt out anytime)

4) Who we share your information with

We don’t share your personal information unless it helps us provide the Services, or we’re required by law.

We may share information with:

  • Shopify (to operate the store)

  • Payment providers (to process payments)

  • Fulfilment and delivery partners (to ship your order)

  • Customer support and IT providers (to support the business)

  • Analytics and marketing providers (to understand what’s working and show relevant ads)

These partners only receive what they need to do their job, and many have their own privacy and security obligations.

5) Shopify enhanced features (including Shopify Network Intelligence)

Shopify may offer enhanced features that help stores like ours perform better, for example, improving personalisation and advertising outcomes.

We may use Shopify Network Intelligence, which allows Shopify to securely use aggregated customer data from our store and other merchants to provide enhanced services (like better personalisation and store performance), while ensuring one merchant can’t access another merchant’s customer data.

You can learn more and manage some privacy choices via Shopify:

6) Overseas storage and processing

Some of our service providers (including Shopify and certain analytics/marketing tools) may store or process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to work with reputable providers and protect your information.

7) Cookies, ads, and your choices

We use cookies and similar tools to make the site work properly, understand how it’s used, and help with marketing.

You can control cookies

  • Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies

  • Use any cookie banner/settings on our site (if enabled)

Opt out of targeted advertising

Marketing emails
You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in our emails. We’ll still send important service messages (like order updates).

8) How we protect and keep your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No system is perfect, so we recommend avoiding sending sensitive information via unsecured channels.

We keep your personal information only for as long as needed to:

  • provide the Services,

  • meet legal/tax requirements,

  • resolve disputes, and

  • enforce agreements.

9) Your rights (access and correction)

You can ask to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you, and/or

  • correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.

10) Children’s privacy

Our Services aren’t intended for children and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll take reasonable steps to remove it.
